6. Let Your Community Love On You
Dec 7, 2018

Accepting help from others is one way to send signals of worthiness to your mind. Many people who go through troubling times have a hard time finding themselves worthy of other people’s time, energy, resources and money.

5. Chill on the Self-blame
Dec 6, 2018

First of all, this blog has taken me a year to post because it took me that long to really wrap my head around it. This is about sanitizing your thought process of self blame after experiencing trauma. We can take responsibility for ourselves AND our actions without being made responsible for actions, and specifically harm done to us, beyond our control.

4. Take The Responsibility of Loving You
Jan 20, 2018

It’s not your partner’s responsibility to heal you, nor your parents’, nor your community healer’s, nor your therapist’s. There’s empowerment, not harshness, in telling yourself, “that is my responsibility.” It is your ‘ability to respond’ that is self love in this situation. It is intentional, self-fulfilling preparedness for what we know the world is capable of putting us through at any moment. Our human condition needs catering, emotionally and spiritually. After all, we have been at war. Step into your worthiness and make the choice to love yourself like no one else can.

3. Express the pain, again, and again.
Sep 1, 2017

You’re not taking up too much space. It is okay to still be upset, in shock, and enraged. As irrational as it may feel or look, it’s apart of the process of both grieving a loss and processing life change. You are a bird, not a burden. You are meant to fly free and feel all of the stages of your healing. Expressing yourself doesn't always fall into the “wallowing” category. It can mean you are on your way to the other side. The more we talk about our pain in a frame of our own worthiness, the less power the pain has over us to believe otherwise. Tears welcome. To emote is to be authentic with YOU.

1. Engage in Positive Self Talk

Engaging in positive self talk means speaking into existence acts of self consideration and awareness. Our thoughts have the power to invalidate our most intuitive senses. This step will support with training our thoughts to be in the service of our visions to heal, create, and instinctively continue on in our journeys. Beating ourselves up to do or be better is not positive self talk!
