Amy Winehouse was a powerhouse singer, who sang from her deepest wounds and raw form of spirit! The way she passed away was tragic, this show honors her sacred gift and brings her essence back to the spotlight for a night of live music!
I will be singing her classic hit cover, “Valerie” for the people during the second half of the show and rapping YES QUEEN YES GODDESS! Come check out the live band, singers and MCs!
Hello dear family, friends and music lovers!
I am performing a set at First Fridays at the Alan Blueford Center for Justice!
This event is put on by Tatu Vision and hosted by the lovely Jada Imani.
I will be performing about 4 joints- most which are off the upcoming album! Come by and see ya girl sing her heart out and let's chop it up after <3
Presented by Nana Duffuor and Indigo Mateo, Sprint is a performance blending film, theater, poetry, music, and dance to tell the coming of age story of Nana D., a queer black child of Ghanaian immigrants, discovering herself (and her dignity) in White America.
In the era of #BlackGirlMagic, Sprint begs the critical question: “What happens when a magical black girl breaks?”
Based off an original screenplay and collection of written works by Nana Duffuor, Sprint explores the writer’s experiences of anti-blackness and self-denial, sexual violence and self-destruction, healing and resistance. From Nana’s first act of resistance (urinating on the classroom floor of her detested sixth-grade teacher) to the powerful letter she sends to her rapists via Linkedin ten years after the event, Sprint draws upon Nana’s most hilarious and at times horrifying life lessons to inspire community healing.
Celebrating ourselves and each other in the sun. If you're a survivor of sexual violence and ready to heal with others, RSVP email@example.com to receive more details about location of this picnic!
Come join fellow survivors and thrivers in circle as we reflect on what it means to be joyous with our healing journey and looking forward towards creating a culture of consent.
Enjoy food, refreshments, movement exercises and an opportunity to be featured in the upcoming production, Sprint ! Learn more about the show at Sprintmovement.com and @Sprintmovement on IG

Hey Beloved Community! I will be offering 2 songs at the street ceremony, ORISA, where we will be gathering around protection shields and offering our energy and talents towards the safety and solidarity of our communities.
Please come and support local artists and get the experience of the ceremonies that keep us close to our intentions and visions.
My worthy community!
Please join me for a two-day retreat for survivors of sexual violence at Regina's Door in Oakland, Ca. Sexual violence is something that so many people go through, yet lack the appropriate or sufficient resources to heal from and get through.
The Soul Shower will be sprinkled with refreshments, food, exercises for release, music, storytelling and more.
Take a moment to acknowledge your survivor.... hell, take 2 days!
With all my love and deepest gratitude for your trust,

I am performing music alongside a creative partner of mine, Nana Duffuor, a brilliant screenwriter and soon to be filmmaker. Her vision for her feature length film, "Sprint" has been an honor to see blossom... Email me at email@example.com to get the details of this event if you're not invited on FB
"It's a thrill and an honor to present to you, Sprint--a screenplay and a collection of written works that tell a coming-of-age story of self-denial, survival, resistance, and healing, based on my life and in my own words.
Sprint is a collection of experiences gifted with meaning, balled up, pushed down, and, eventually, pushed out in the throws of grief and joy. It's a little something about myself that I want you to know--a story I'd like for us to share together.
On July 27, I look forward to breaking bread; sharing a teaser for the screenplay; and reading, performing, and discussing some of the written works from the collection with you. There will also be special performances from Indigo Mateo.
Scrumptious food & non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. (BYOB). There is a requested contribution of $10 at the door. Please contribute what feels good to you. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
Thank you so much for your support! I hope to see you there."

WHERE: Regina's Door (Downtown Oakland)
WHEN: MAY 24th
This is an event that is near and dear to my heart. "Our Sacred Walk" is a solemn and joyous gathering to honor survivors of sex trafficking put on by Regina's Door and the CEREMONY team, Kinfolkz collective and For Colored Girls in partnership with the Red Sand Project against human trafficking.
We will be meeting at Regina's Door at 3:00pm and heading to the lake where there will be songs and spoken word pieces delivered by myself, and many other amazing women artists in the Bay Area.
